"Every N*gga is a Starrrrr"

This sophomore album, To Pimp a Butterfly by Kendrick Lamar definitely withstood the hype that he arose after becoming the number one album in America after a couple short weeks of release. In this second project by Lamar, he held content and sounds that thoroughly described the lifestyle and thoughts of African-American's in modern-day America. The sounds in this album can be easily described as funky with a strong incorporation of Jazz. This album holds sixteen amazing tracks that reveal different problems and perspectives of today's society (in Kendrick's eyes). On the cover of the album, Kendrick stands alongside a few of the men who he had grown up with (these men are also featured in the 'King Kunta' video). This album is easily a must-hear for all music-lovers throughout the world.
